What are the benefits of using remanufactured brake shoes?
Our Core Return Program is simple to use and makes purchasing remanufactured heavy-duty brake shoes cost-effective. Another benefit is that remanufacturing is great for the environment.
Does it make sense to use higher grade lining for any type of brake application?
It really depends upon the application. If you are running logging trucks versus long-haul, then it makes sense to choose different linings. However, Atlantic Friction knows there are poor quality lining from China that are being sold here, and should never be used.
What does to cost to reline brake bands?
Much depends of the size of the brake band. On average the typical bands we see cost between $250-$400 per band
What does it cost to have a clutch relined?
Clutch facing come in various sizes, but usually between $200-$400 per unit
How long does it take to get a brake band or clutch relined?
Depends on the volume of work in the custom shop but usually we can turn it around in 5-10 days. Rush service is available.
