Transportation applications include Over the Road applications such as Transit Bus, Coach Bus, Truck & Trailer, Light/Medium Duty Trucks, Garbage Trucks, Logging Trucks, Fire Trucks, Rescue Vehicles and many more. Off-Road Applications include friction relining of brakes and components from farm tractors; forestry bunchers, skidders, chippers and mulchers; mining trucks and excavation equipment; construction equipment including dozers and loaders. Atlantic Friction has the expertise to reline almost any off road vehicle.
Atlantic Friction specializes in custom friction relining that provide huge savings and shorter down times. We use quality friction material to rivet or bond (or both) Clutch Facings and Buttons, Power Take-off, Differential Clutch Plates, Brake Bands. Other friction applications include Brake Pads for Propeller Shafts, Bearings for Rudder/Steerage Systems, Bladder brakes, Wet and Dry Transmission Plates, Differentials, and Gearboxes. We also reline Transmission Plates, PTO Clutches, Wheel Brakes, Gear Tooth Facings, Steer Brakes, Truck/Tractor Brakes, Draglines, Vibration Dampening Equipment, and Friction Joints.
