We are all about heavy-duty brakes! We have been in the brake industry for over 30 years, Atlantic Friction uses their extensive knowledge and experience to remanufacture brake systems for any application or industry. Our objective is to not only sell brakes and brake linings – but to develop the perfect technical solution and complete friction system for each respective application.
As a full-service brake and clutch remanufacturer, Atlantic Friction has complete control over the friction material, bonding, and fabricating processes, and integrates these processes to rebuild complete systems. Our brake and clutch system process is of the highest standard, and our many years of experience allow us to develop a total friction system that meets any clients’ exacting requirements for performance and safety.
At Atlantic Friction Inc., even though we specialize in the distribution and sales of clutch and brake systems and friction materials, our scope of services covers so much more. We can also rebuild, reline, and/or remanufacture parts in our state-of-the-art machine shop according to your specific requirements, or to the OEM specifications, using genuine OEM parts. We offer customized solutions for rebuilding obsolete and hard-to-find clutches and brakes. In many cases, our customers will send us their old, worn products for us to refurbish.

Our History
Atlantic Friction started remanufacturing brakes over 30 years ago in a small shop in Dieppe, NB Canada. Today we have grown to become a leading supplier of non-asbestos industrial friction material, friction relining, and heavy-duty brake remanufacturing.
